Hi,

Can anybody describe there method for making bentsides from solid poplar ?
I've tried soaking and clamping to a form but found that i got a lot of
springback. I'm know looking at using heat. What sort of time period does
the wood need to be heated, short period at high temperature or a long
period at a lower temperature ?
Any tips or advice appreciated.

thanks,
Andrew Edwards.
