Hi =- It's I trying to make the keys of a jack Peters spinet movable
again - and the floor downstairs is littered with shaving of
key ends saturated with clouds of lead oxides and probably
sulfates and who knows what else. L. asked me how long before the
problem recurs, and I couldn't guess; does lead oxide catalyze
the oxidation the way iron oxides to, accelerating the process?

Find me more old jacks. More old jacks.
