Xerox machines have been only able to copy up to 900mm for a long time. They replaced the old diazo machines which could go up to 1100mm and they could print on sensitized mylar. It would have been good if the manufacures had considered the needs of harpsichord makers. Locally in Adelaide I can get plans scanned to well over 1100mm and take them to a printer with a bubble jet printer which will do over 1100mm. The catch is that it costs $100 square metre it may also be possible to use the process to print on mylar. Unfortunately you will never get the accuracy of a diazo contact print.
