Looking for a summer camp that's just right for you? Tired of hearing
about band camp, hockey camp, horseback riding camp, scout
camp, drama camp, art camp and space camp? Announcing the summer
camp you've always dreamed of...created just for you, the early music
aficionado. That's right...it's HARPSICHORD AND CLAVICHORD CAMP, at
the beautiful, rustic Zuckermann seaside retreat in Stonington,
CT. Imagine...two and a half days of non-stop early music fun and
games with like- minded campers. You'll enjoy comfy accommodations at
the Stonington Inn or the Seabreeze, and you'll be in good hands with
camp counselors Richard, Carol lei, Michael, Ed and Tatyana.

During the daily craft time, you'll enjoy:
*Decorating a harpsichord soundboard with rubber stamps and poster paint
*Making a Native Indian Dream Catcher with clavichord string
*Using jacks to build a fantastic birdhouse, complete with milk paint
finish

During the daily culture break, you'll have fun:
*Using chop sticks to play "Chop Sticks" on the historical keyboard
instrument of your choice
*Creating a word search puzzle using the names of famous Renaissance
instrument builders, composers, and performers
*Reciting German poetry to Italian music played on a French
harpsichord while eating an English muffin

During the daily physical fitness hour, you'll have the chance to:
*Participate in a harpsichord stacking contest
*Develop esprit de corp during the Tug-of-War String Changing
Competition
*Learn the basics of Scarlatti's Pilates, the latest fitness craze

And the meals! We know how hungry campers get. You'll chow down on:
*Salmon, trout, and lobster for breakfast
*Halibut, tuna, and cod for lunch
*Swordfish, mussels, crab and shrimp for dinner

At night, we'll gather around a bonfire in the middle of the
Zuckermann shop (plenty of wood to keep the fire roaring!) and sing
your favorite camp songs, including:
*Do Your Plectra Hang Low
*99 Sticky Keys on the Wall
*There Was an Old Musicologist who Swallowed B-flat
*Tune, tune, tune your keys
*I've Been Working On My Soundboard

Sign up today, and start packing! Don't forget to bring:
*Tuning fork
*Ear plugs
*Rubber raft
*Marshmallows
*Lobster bib
*I-Pod
*Quill pen and ink for taking notes
See you at HARPSICHORD AND CLAVICHORD CAMP!

Folks, this is the last call. It's less than a month to our Workshop
and our caterer needs to know how many people we're going to
feed. There's still time for you to sign up to attend the gathering
of early music keyboard aficionados at Zuckermann Harpsichord
International's Harpsichord and Clavichord Workshop in Stonington,
Ct., June 17-19! For information on the Workshop, Stonington,
