I would like to know the date of this instrument, as I cannot find it in the
Boalch Catalogue 3rd. ed.
As for the string lengths, to have two extant Taskins with identical string
lengths is surprising indeed. Even if they were identical initially, after
centuries of different soundboard warping, not to mention the not-infrequent
changes in bridge position, at least a few millimetres of differences will
often show, sometimes even enough to influence string size.

Table 1 shows scalings for all the C's of seven Taskin harpsichords: no two
of them are alike.
