Just to let you kiddies know that if you EVER have an Italian 
Inner-Outer  with Ivory studs in a case with a 17th century lid 
painting shipped -  make sure the idiots cover the studs with cloth.... 
  they  REALLY make a mess of the painting.    Isn't it sad how 
something can survive for 380 or more years and then be screwed up by 
one simple person's UTTER lack of care?  Im sure some expert can 
restore it so one can't tell. and there's insurance....  but damn  its 
annoying.  Just adds more patina to the stupid thing i guess.
