Dear list,

I am thinking of building a spinet using the plans that John Barns
made of the Keene and Brackley spinet.

The compass is GG,AA-d3,e3. In other words there isn't a GG# or eb3.

Before I start, I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to try to
include these two notes, or perhaps only the top eb, or not at all.

I've been given a nice set of ebony accidentals which I would like to
use in this keyboard. Would they look good with boxwood naturals?

The object of this project is to have a nice practice instrument
rather than an accurate historic copy, and I'll probably be
simplifying some of the decoration on the case.

I'd also be happy to make contact with anyone who has built something
similar and would like to guide a beginner along this project.

Best wishes,

Adriel
