A couple of correspondents are having difficulty in finding out any more
information about the great Basilica in Hackenback Square, Washington
Heights.
One writes:
>Is the Christmas in NY true or a story? I'm trying to research this
>church and cannot find any info on it at all. Can you give me some info or
>address if this church exists?
and another, even more delightfully:
>I missed something somewhere ib your posting on Pipeorg-l posting.
>Where is this church? If it is New York City, Why have i NEVER heard
>of it? Still- with such a grand organ- WHY HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF IT?
>Are there any recordings of this instrument? I'm fascinated.
>Please for give my intrusion, but my curiosity is killing me.
Well, I am not a US citizen and therefore perhaps not the best person to
ask. Perhaps other members of the list who have visited St. Glad's can
help out here!
Kind regards
